Focus and Scope
AWARANING: Journal of Religion, Education and Society is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Loroseng Ada' Research and Academic Center (LRAC). The journal focuses on advancing scholarly discourse through the publication of high-quality research that engages critical and interdisciplinary perspectives on religion, education, culture, and society.
The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, conceptual papers, and case studies that contribute to the understanding of social, cultural, and intellectual dynamics across diverse contexts. AWARANING encourages interdisciplinary approaches that connect theory and practice in addressing contemporary issues within society.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to: Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Comparative Religion, Education, Sociology, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Local Wisdom, Community Development, Social Transformation, Ethics, Philosophy, Citizenship Studies, Gender Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, Interreligious Relations, and other related disciplines in the humanities and social sciences.
The journal is published three times a year in February, July, and November. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and scholarly contribution.
